Refund and Returns Policy

This Return and Refund Policy governs the purchase of recreational vehicles (RVs), travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and related units sold by Northwest Rides, LLC (“Dealer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing a vehicle from the dealership, the buyer (“Customer” or “Purchaser”) agrees to the terms outlined below.

1. Final Sales Policy

All sales of recreational vehicles, trailers, and related equipment are final unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly stated in a written agreement signed by both the dealership and the customer.

Once a purchase agreement, retail installment contract, or bill of sale has been executed and the transaction has been completed, the vehicle may not be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

2. No Cooling-Off Period

State and federal laws generally do not provide a cooling-off period for vehicle purchases made at a dealership location. Customers should be aware that once documents are signed, they do not have the automatic right to cancel the transaction.

3. Pre-Purchase Inspection Responsibility

Prior to completing the purchase, the customer is responsible for inspecting the RV or trailer and verifying that the unit meets their expectations.

Customers are encouraged to:

  • Conduct a full visual and operational inspection
  • Complete a walkthrough with dealership staff
  • Arrange a third-party inspection, if desired
  • Ask questions about the vehicle’s operation and condition

By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges they have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and accept it in its current condition.

4. Used Vehicle Condition – “AS-IS” Sales

Unless otherwise provided in a written warranty agreement, all pre-owned RVs and trailers are sold “AS-IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS.”

This means the dealership makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • Mechanical condition
  • Structural condition
  • Appliance or system functionality
  • Future performance
  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

Any written disclosures provided by the dealership at the time of sale will control.

5. Deposits

Deposits may be required to hold a vehicle prior to completing the purchase.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a purchase agreement has been signed.
  • If a deposit is placed to temporarily reserve a vehicle without a signed purchase agreement, the deposit may be refundable only if cancellation occurs within the time period stated in writing at the time the deposit is taken.
  • The dealership reserves the right to retain all or part of a deposit to cover:
    • Administrative costs
    • Lost sales opportunities
    • Vehicle preparation or inspection costs
    • Advertising removal and holding costs

6. Financing Contingencies

If the purchase is contingent upon financing and financing cannot be obtained under mutually agreeable terms, the purchase agreement may be canceled and any eligible refundable deposit may be returned.

However, if financing approval is obtained and the customer chooses not to complete the transaction, the dealership may retain the deposit as liquidated damages.

7. Delivery and Acceptance

Delivery of the vehicle constitutes final acceptance by the purchaser.

Acceptance occurs when any of the following take place:

  • The purchaser takes physical possession of the RV or trailer
  • The vehicle leaves the dealership premises
  • The dealership completes delivery to the purchaser or their agent

After delivery and acceptance, the sale is considered fully completed and non-reversible.

8. Mileage, Usage, or Damage After Delivery

Any use of the RV or trailer after delivery, including:

  • Driving or towing the vehicle
  • Camping or occupancy
  • Travel or relocation

constitutes acceptance of the unit and voids any possibility of return.

9. Title, Registration, and Government Fees

Fees related to title processing, registration, taxes, and documentation may not be refundable once the dealership has initiated processing with government agencies or third-party vendors.

10. Optional Service Contracts and Protection Plans

Optional extended service contracts, warranties, and protection plans may be offered at the time of purchase.

These products are administered by third-party providers, and any cancellations, refunds, or claims are subject to the terms of the specific service contract agreement.

11. Dealer Discretion

The dealership may, at its sole discretion, consider requests related to transaction cancellation under extraordinary circumstances. Any such consideration:

  • Does not create a right of return
  • May involve restocking fees, mileage deductions, or reconditioning charges
  • Must be approved in writing by dealership management

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the dealership shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the purchase, ownership, or use of any vehicle sold.

13. Policy Updates

The dealership reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of purchase will govern the transaction.
